Simon Bromwell
Founding Partner - Go-to-Market
With 25 years of experience in executive search, Simon has helped build the leadership teams of hundreds of high-growth startups and large enterprises. Prior to co-founding Forward Search, Simon spent 18 years with one of the world’s most admired international recruitment firms. During his tenure, he spent 9 years in Tokyo, Japan, before relocating to San Francisco in 2012 to launch the firm’s first operation on the West Coast and ultimately went on to run their entire North American operations. At Forward Search, Simon leads the Go-to-Market practice. He has built the Marketing, Sales, and Business Development executive management teams for the portfolio companies of many top-tier venture capital firms such as Andreesen Horowitz, Battery Ventures, Lightspeed, and FTV Capital. He is originally from just outside Liverpool, UK, and now resides in San Francisco.
Frédéric Téhard
Founding Partner - Finance & Operations
After beginning his career in corporate finance with Danone and Microsoft in France, Frédéric has dedicated the past 15 years to executive search. Before co-founding Forward Search, Frédéric spent 10 years at one of the world's most esteemed global recruitment firms, consistently ranking among the organization’s top performers worldwide. He initially spent 4 years in Paris, France, managing the market-leading finance division. He then moved to San Francisco to build the firm’s Finance and Operations practice, before relocating to Los Angeles to launch the firm’s SoCal business. At Forward Search, Frederic leads the Finance & Operations practice. He has helped to build the Finance, Accounting, and Operations executive management teams for portfolio companies of renowned venture capital firms such as Khosla Ventures, Accel, Index Ventures, and Felicis Ventures.
Andrew Skyta
Director
Prior to joining Forward Search, Andrew was a top performer on the Go-to-Market team at a leading global recruitment business. During his time there, he led various executive-level searches for venture capital-backed startups in the Bay Area and New York. Earlier in his career, Andrew was selected to join the prestigious hospitality training program at Hillstone Restaurant Group, where he quickly became one of the youngest General Managers in the company. Andrew previously lived in San Francisco for five years and now resides in New York City.
Amanda Gordon
Director
Before joining Forward Search, Amanda was an executive recruiter at a boutique executive search firm, where she partnered closely with high-growth venture capital and private equity-backed companies. There she quickly excelled, helping to build out high-functioning marketing and product teams. She worked across various industries, serving both enterprise companies and consumer brands. Amanda graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Originally from LA, Amanda is now based in Salt Lake City.
